Future directions – have your say

Upstairs at “The Office” Bar in Newtown, Sunday 17 November, 3-5 pm

You’re invited to an opportunity to have your say about the Club’s future direction and operation before the Committee comes up with some specific proposals for changing what we do and how we do it. The discussion will cover all aspects of the Club’s operation and our aim is to revitalise Acoustic Routes and reverse declining membership and attendance at concerts. If you aren’t able to come on Sunday and would like to send us your thoughts you can email them to president@acousticroutes.org.nz or secretary@acousticroutes.org.nz

Parodies and P*ss-takes

Roseneath School Hall, Maida Vale Road,  Thursday 28 November, 7.30 pm

This will be a singaround night rather than a concert, and it’s all about participation. So, if you feel like having a go at something or someone that’s getting up your nose, find a well-known song or tune and write a new set of words to give us a laugh. It doesn’t have to be a song, you can satirise or lampoon a poem or a piece of prose, too.

Supper (hot drinks and bikkies) provided, and there will be spoofy prizes as well

Ticket Price:  $5 for all.
