Acoustic Routes Christmas Party, Sunday 14 December, at Annie McGregor and Roy McGuinness’s, 21 Gordon Rd, Plimmerton, from 2:30pm, with shared meal/BBQ at 3:30pm. Disposable plates etc. will be provided please bring picnic sets if you have them. The Koha this year is for DCM (Downtown Community Ministry). Sorry no dogs.

Newtown Acoustic Sound – Open Mic at The Office, Newtown, 2nd and last Sundays of the month, 5.15-8pm Hosted by Janine Mitchell with support from Kevin Ikin.  To find out more, contact Kevin at kevin.ikin@supermail.co.nz . open mics for December: 14 December. No NAS on 4th Sunday in December.

Open Mic at Plimmerton Boating Club, Thursday 11 December (2nd Thursday of the month), 7 pm, hosted by Roy McGuinness. No need to book in, just come along and put your name on the board. (Note change to Thursday nights as of July 2025.)

Acoustic Routes Singaround, tunes and poems welcome too!  None scheduled for December. Normally 1.30pm on the 3rd Wednesday of the month – timeslot may be changing in the new year (2026). Held at the Johnsonville Club, 1 Norman Lane, off Johnsonville Road, Johnsonville. Bring songs or tunes to share or just come to listen and/or join in. Drinks, tea/coffee and snacks can be purchased at the bar. No entry charge. Plenty of parking up the lane at the venue or catch a number 1 bus or the Johnsonville train to Johnsonville.
