Bruce Carey

Bruce enjoys writing songs about New Zealand people, places, and events – both recent and historical. Over the years, he has spent quite a bit of holiday time on the West Coast of the South Island and has written a number of songs about that region. His set will feature some of these songs.

Jo Sheffield

Jo originally came from Northumberland, England and although she has been in New Zealand for some years, recently moved to Upper Hutt from Levin. Jo performs as a solo artist, but is also a part of the EaGals, an all girl Eagles Tribute Band. She loves working on close vocal harmonies and plays guitar, mandolin and a bit of banjo. You can expect plenty of variety, from more contemporary acoustic covers to originals, Americana and more traditional folk.

Toil and Trouble

Toil and Trouble are a trio of seasoned performers. Mary Hubble brings wonderful flute/whistle playing and lovely vocal harmonies. Jude Douglas is a superb fiddle player who always finds the perfect harmonies to enhance every song. Ron Craig combines a warm, expressive, voice with beautiful guitar. Expect a wide variety of songs, lovely harmonies and gorgeous instrumentals.

Juli Usmar and Cameron Te Moananui. Cam writes lots of songs, sings and plays guitar and Juli plays the uke and enjoys singing. Plus our guest – Annette Esquenet who is a beautiful songwriter, singer, guitar, piano and golden bowl player!
